I really like the way you explained things. Yes, Da Nang is more expensive than it used to be, but you can still live great compared to the States. I’m 22 years old and I don’t need anything fancy. I don’t mind putting my head down and working. Haha I live in LA California and don’t even live on the beach, I’m still a 10–15 minute drive away, so being able to walk to the beach is insane. I mainly care about a really nice gym lol and a good desk space. going in july! excited for this next chapter of my life.

As a local, I want to let you know that the prices of goods and services in Vietnam increase every year, but they are very well controlled. Vietnam is among the few countries in the world with high GDP growth each year. The Vietnamese government always considers controlling inflation (CPI) as one of its core macroeconomic goals, usually setting an annual average CPI target below 4%. By the end of 2025, the average CPI increase was 3.31%, marking the 11th consecutive year that Vietnam has kept inflation below its target. The CPI (Consumer Price Index) reflects the price fluctuations that consumers pay and plays a key role in measuring inflation, living standards, and economic trends.
