Kontum is definitely one of Vietnam's least visited towns by tourists. But I've been charmed by the place. We head from Kontum north to the Bo Y border with Laos and on to Pakse. This was no luxury vehicle. It was grubby and constantly stopping to pick goods. But it was definitely an interesting way to head to southern Laos.

It has not change much since 1967 .The airbase at Dak to was used to supply our troops in Laos. Kontum is a beautiful city with the river and sand among its shore.
