After the chaos and pace of Hanoi, landing in Hai Phong felt like a quiet exhale. It’s Tia’s family’s hometown, and being here allowed us to slow down, reset, and soak in a place that feels a little closer to home.We spent the day wandering, eating finger-sized Banh Mi that pack a punch, and trying to catch our breath before the next leg to Ha Long Bay. Somewhere along the way, though… let’s say our stomachs started telling a different story.
