I think, Hollywood movies Rambo First Blood Part 2 and another Arnold Szwarznegar featuring Predtor was shooted somewhere in the National Park only. So beautiful.

I am making my first visit to Vietnam in February — will be there for two weeks, both arriving and departing via Hanoi.

Since booking my flight, I learned that my stay will be during the Tet celebration.

This raises the question of what places and activities (esp. in the north) will be feasible and/or advisable during this time (Feb 5 to 19).

With regard to Cat Ba Nat'l Park — or other such places, such as Sapa, Hoi An, Ninh Binh, etc.
...any specific advice in this regard?
