Always Always take probiotics as soon as you feel nauseated. Take 3 capsules every 2 hrs and you will feel better very quickly. I take them when travelling anywhere especially in Asian countries as fruit and salad is often washed in their tap water and our stomachs soon protest. It will ruin all or some of your holiday if you don't. I was given this tip by another nurse like myself a decade ago and have thanked her a few times. It doesn't matter which brand and you can buy them now that don't have to be kept cool. Bonus. Don't eat fruit that you haven't peeled yourself. And water melon is grown in fields that you wouldn't walk in. Be aware Asia is different. Happy travels.
You were travelling in the wet season so being even more wary of salads and fruit and mosquitoes too.
