Pleiku is home of indigenous Montagnard Jarai, Bana or Bahanar those statues are Jarai, Bana culture it’s kind similar Native American Indian .We have 30 tribes in Central highland such Jarai, Bana, bru, sdang, EdE, K’Ho, stieng, bunong

I was in pleiku in 1969 with 4th inf div 10th armored calvery. Looks nothing like it back then.

You call Pho is Phở Khô- Pho double bowl. You can put the soysauce ( black sause on the table) in the bowl of Pho, bean sprout, basil, sawleaf, chilli. Last, mix them well. It’s really special! Sometime we get the beef from sauce bowl to dip in the soysauce, so amazing! Yumyum! Welcome to Pleiku!
