What to do in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam for a Day? This is one of the most picturesque bucket list locations. This video shows where the cruise ships dock and what you can do in port — from the hop-on-hop-of city tour, to a smaller city shuttle, both of which will take you to the Vincom Plaza and the city market for shopping as well as other locations. We take a local boat tour through Viator which included stops at the Ha Long Oyster Farm; a cave, a sampan or canoe ride, and a stop at Ti Top Island for some time at the beach. The boat trip included a large Vietnamese lunch. I highly recommend taking a boat tour of Ha Long Bay.

Hi Shirley… we will dock in this port at 11 am so we anticipate that day exploring the town...we will overnight so on the 2nd day doing an excursion… it seems from your notes that you can walk straight into town basically and spend some time there?
